From Second Life to Digiworldz

Wow, my first post in a while!  I took some time out of virtual worlds for awhile, then made the mistake of going back into the first one I ever entered...Second Life of course.

Linden Labs and I had a disagreement on what constitutes a TOS violation and I lost. Thank you Linden Labs for your selective enforcement of TOS because leaving your virtual world was the best thing that ever happened to me.  I hope anyone reading this, is up to date on the current antics of LL and their newest endeavor...rather than write about it myself right now I will give you this link:  http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2015/11/second-life-versus-sansar.html


I now call Digiworldz home.  www.digiworldz.com  Its amazing, because management cares about its residents.

The management and staff* comprise of many creators and so the grid is very concerned about creator's rights and content.  What won me over to them originally was that they lay NO claim of ownership on a creator's works.  Now, even before leaving SL I refused to upload any original content because LL lays claim of ownership, and to me that was not only not cool, but I'm not even sure how that is legal as they have always claimed to be merely a "hosting" site...  But that is an argument for greater minds than mine.

Next came the affordability of Digiworldz.  How affordable?  Well in a few hours I will be buying in on the Black Friday sale event.  Buy one regular region and get one free (have to say regular region because they also have VAR regions..which are landmasses that are humongous!  Oh and also totally affordable.  Anyway, once I buy those regions I will be the proud owner of 10 regions which will total in size 40 SL standard regions....and for considerably less than what LL charges for one regular size region, less than what LL charges for one mainland region....

Now on top of all that, they let you have free uploads.  You can create NPC's.  There is a grid wide community chat group!  All the staff are listed in search so you can easily find someone.  Oh and of course Digiworldz offers a money back guarantee!  Find THAT on ANY other gird....
